Audible static/noise in videos when using an Eye-Fi Card |
|
Eye-Fi has identified certain cameras which when used with an Eye-Fi Card, exhibit audible static or noise during video playback. This is caused by electrical noise coupling into the audio circuitry in these particular cameras. One suggestion to minimize the potential for noise in videos is to take advantage of the “Selective Transfer” feature in the card settings panel. By using this users can control which files upload thereby having some control to prevent uploading when shooting video. From the hundreds of models being used by Eye-Fi users, we have confirmed that the following models below exhibit audible static or noise during video playback. If you have a camera that is demonstrating this problem please contact Eye-Fi Customer Care to report the problem.
