Eye-Fi uses license keys which can be accessed via the Eye-Fi Manager Settings page for WebShare, Geotagging and Hotspot service upgrades and renewals. A license key is not necessary with a brand new Eye-Fi Card. Eye-Fi users receive license keys after purchasing or renewing an Eye-Fi service upgrade.

The list below illustrates the situations where and when a license key is required.

If you purchased a subscription upgrade, and it doesn’t show in your Eye-Fi Manager Settings page within five (5) minutes of ordering, take the license key provided to you via e-mail from the Online Eye-Fi Store and enter it under “Licenses” on the Settings page and click the “Added Services” button.

NOTE: If you have not made any purchases from the Eye-Fi Online Store, you do not need to enter a license key.
